Cayenne Pecans Source: Betty Jones Category: Appetizers Cuisine: Polish Ingredients: 1 lb. pecans 1 egg white 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. packed brown sugar 3 tbsp. packed brown sugar 3/4-1 tsp. cayenne pepper cooking spray Directions: 1: Mix sugar, salt, paprica and cayenne set aside 2: In large glass bowl, wisk egg white until thick 3: Add pecans, stir to coat w/ egg white 4: Add sugar mixture, stir to coat evenly 5: Preheat oven to 375 6: Coat 2 cookie sheets with cooking spray 7: Spread coated pecans evenly in single layer on cookie sheets 8: cook for 12-15 minutes or until sugar crystals form 9: Allow to cool, store in airtight container for up to 3 weeks
